Zine Workshop with My Normal, Trans Happiness is Real and Common Books

Saturday 5 June, 14.30 - 16.30

Beyond the Binary banner with activist slogans behind white harmonium

Join us for a relaxed zine making workshop live streamed to the Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/3980741302002555); we'll tell you about zines, what they mean to the LGBTIQA+ community and how to make your own. We're also excited to announce we'll be creating a Beyond the Binary zine in response to the exhibition and this event launches our call out for contributions!

We'll be livestreaming from 2.30pm for approximately 30 minutes and will then move into the Museum, so drop in to pick up a zine making pack (book a ticket for entry to the Museum here) or download the zine pack online. We'll also be online on the event page to answer any questions and there may even be a few more live streams throughout the event!

There will also be zines available to browse in the Museum on the day.

All live streamed content will be available after the event on the event webpage.

Zine submission deadline is 11 July and all the information on how to contribute will be in our livestream and in our zine packs, which will be available in person during the event and online.

You can contribute to the zine even if you can't yet see the exhibition in person! See details in the zine pack available from 5 June.

NB. Capacity of the Lecture Theatre is 6 people (including workshop leaders). Drop in and collect your pack from 3pm onwards (after the live stream).
