The Museum offers a range of formal learning opportunities at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Our sessions range from general introductions through to hands-on workshops, and are delivered by our learning and participation officers.
We welcome self-guided visits, and have a series of structured guides to help. Booking is essential for both taught sessions and self-guided groups.
This page also contains a wide range of art resources.
Hear about CPD opportunities for teachers, special offers for participating 'Buddy Schools', partnership opportunities on projects, new sessions, new online resources and more! We want to work closely with teachers to deliver relevant and unique opportunities for visiting schools, so sign up now and be part of the conversation.
The Museum currently offers a range of internships for secondary, further and higher education institutions throughout the year. These are carefully managed though well-established partnerships with selected organisations. Please enquire whether your institution offers placements with the Pitt Rivers Museum before contacting us. Unfortunately we are not currently able to take individual requests for work experience placements currently.
