Celebrate the launch of LGBT+ History Month with a story-telling session on the Museum Balcony from 15.45 - 16.15, aimed at children aged 8+.

Steve Boyce, Chair of Trustees and an ex-Primary Headteacher will be reading Stonewall: A Building, An Uprising, A Revolution by Rob Sanders. Written by an American primary school teacher, this beautifully illustrated and poignant story retells the heart-warming story of the night of 28 June 1969, a turning point in LGBT+ civil rights. Narrated from the viewpoint of the building itself, the book introduces the listeners to a plethora of civil rights, equality and diversity issues.

"It all began here at the Stonewall Inn, when two old horse stalls became part of history..."

Turn up at 15.30 to get settled - story telling starts at 15.45!
