Venue: Wytham Woods, Oxford. Parking available at the main carpark, with the kilns a short 5 minute walk away.

Programme

Anagama Kiln: Handling of traditional fired pots and talk by Robin Wilson.

Walk: A walk through the woods to the Swiss Chalet. Lifts can be provided for less mobile guests, approximately 20 minutes.

Food: Sushi picnic box. (If vegetarian, please email julieteccles@virginmedia.com.) Bring your own bottle, picnic rugs and chairs.

Dance: Performance by Café Reason Butoh Dance Theatre in the amphitheatre, showcasing a unique dance form that originated in post-war Japan.

Talk: Louella Matsunaga will give a talk on the origins of the tea ceremony.

Traditional tea ceremony: Tea will be provided.
