From April 1st 2016, Oxford University Museums: (The Ashmolean Museum, The Museum of the History of Science; the Museum of Natural History and the Pitt Rivers Museum) will be introducing charging for their education sessions for schools.
The income realised through school charges will help sustain the Museums’ award winning schools’ service.

Tuesday to Friday 10.00 – 16.30 (and bank holiday Mondays)
Monday 12.00 – 16.30. Please check at Christmas and Easter.
There is limited space available for lunch bookings. If you would like a space for lunch, please discuss this when making your booking. Lunch can be eaten on the Museum lawn and in the nearby University Parks in fine weather. No eating or drinking is allowed in the museum.
If more than 28 days before the date of your visit you will receive a full refund.
If less than 28 days before the date of your visit you will be invoiced for the full amount.
Access to the Pitt Rivers is gained through the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. If you also wish to visit the Oxford University Museum of Natural History please book separately on 01865 282451 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Bookings for international groups and language schools can only be made for these times:
Mon-Fri: 14:00 or 15:00
Sun: 10:00 or 11:00
UK school holidays: 10.00 – 11.00 and 11.00 – 12.00, except Monday
