Papers of Anthony John ARKELL (1898-1980), colonial administrator and archaeologist
- two boxes of material, relating to Arkell’s research on beads
and the bead trade,
especially in North Africa - the material includes correspondence,
notes, draft manuscripts and typescripts,
and miscellaneous ephemera - the
papers have been catalogued and arranged into the following sections: (i.)
glass beads and general; (ii.) Cambay, carnelian and agate beads; (iii.)
Tuareg ornament; (iv.) miscellaneous
