Film Collections

The Museum cares for a small amount of film material, some of which is unique and of significant historical importance, such as the films of Frederick Spencer Chapman made in Tibet, Greenland and Africa, and Ursula Graham Bower in the Naga Hills of north east India. Film collections

Very little of the collection is currently supported for viewing within the Museum, although the digitization of film material is ongoing where resources allow.

A catalogue of the Museum’s film holdings will be published on this website in due course.
