Film Making Projects
Over the past five years the Museum's Education team have worked with film-makers, local schools and community groups to teach film-making skills such as storyboarding, camera shots and film editing.
The films present an unusual interpretation of an unusual museum. Funding for the film projects has come from a number of sources including the National Lottery.
Shootouts
The Pitt Rivers film workshops always start with a western shootout. It's a great way of learning about storyboarding, shot types and editing. Here are four examples from the many we have made.
The Pitt Rivers' films have only been possible with a lot of help. Particular thanks to Suzy Prior, Alan Mandel, Sharon Woodward, Shehnoor Ahmed, Rob Harris and Andy McLellan, and a lot of advice from Richard Duriez at Film Oxford.
